    So friends I think I am getting closer to making a decision on a ar-15. What do you think of CMMG's. I can get a new one for $750.00 I have changed my mind, I was close to getting a S&W M&P-15.:ar15:

    its a common disease in this community.
    I have had a CMMG and have some of their parts spread through some of my AR's Like them real well.

    When I was at shot got to fondle a few was impressed then so ended up getting one.

    go with the spike's. $800 for a nice rifle. find a shop that will do the transfer for $15. i see you're in ft wayne, so i cant help ya there. if you were in indy, i could name a couple of places.

    I personally have never seen a Bushy or RRA in the 750 price range...

    I can speak highly of CMMG's piston guns though. For that price on one, it's a great buy..

    I've also never seen an RRA or Bushmaster in that price range. And even if I had it wouldn't have the 1/7 twist chromed barrel that a Spikes will at that price.

    Another great name is Bravo Company, but that will add a couple hundred $.

    Well thats what i paid for mine during the "hype". Seen them around that price many times at Acme in Seymour and other places. Just got to do some looking.

    I own a CMMG MOD4 SA with a 14.7" barrel. I love it, every time I pull the trigger it goes bang. I had some issues when I first got it with FTF, FTE and magazines not seating. After the first 100-200 rounds and switching out some magazines I haven't had a problem. I've got about 1500 rounds through it in the last year. If you should ever want another AR I would recommend CMMG.
