If you are serious about satellite, check into DirectTV not Dish. I've had both. Had Direct before my divorce, switched to Dish for 3 years, and I'm now back with Direct. Dish uses refurbished equipment and will drop/change channel programs without notice (I was in the middle of a movie when FX just disappeared). Sometimes the channels come back, sometimes not. Direct has always notified me both via the "TV Mail" and in my bill when there are any changes. Customer service is also much better with Direct IMO.
