All because the US government hates business (small and large). For ages now, the government has been doing everything possible to drive businesses away and it looks like they've succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. Too much regulation and too many taxes have managed to make it almost impossible to start a new business or to innovate. It's not just unions driving businesses out. It's the government.
