I have been interested in becoming a member for a long time. I actually went through the Hunters Safety course to become eligible. Here is the question, I recently purchased a .358 Hoosier, would I be able to use that out there? I have other guns, but this is my most recent purchase, so I would like to be able to use it.

I did look through the handbook and could not tell if I could.

    17. Handguns and rifles in traditional handgun calibers from .25 ACP up to and including .500 S&W
magnum are allowed. .17 HMR, .17 Mach 2, .22LR, and .22 MAG are also allowed. This list is not comprehensive; please see the website for the Approved Cartridge List. If you’re not sure if your caliber is allowed, ask before you shoot! No armor piercing, tracer, or explosive ammunition is allowed.

BTW - I like the idea of having some sort of safety class to become a member.

    Thanks.
    Mike

I have no official say in this, but the answer is likely no. The close proximity neighbors and i465 is the reason for the caliber restrictions, and .358 Hoosier is definitely centerfire rifle velocity.
