You can both conceal carry and open carry in the great state of Indiana.

Where did you find an Indiana "concealed carry permit"? If someone sold you one it's fake. Read your license and report back please.

Short answer, NO. It is however L-E-G-A-L in IN to OC or CC as you see fit provided you have a License To Carry a Handgun. We don't have no stinkin' "permits" here.

In Indiana you don't have a concealed carry permit, you have a "License to Carry a Handgun" This means carry it, any way you want, open, concealed, IWB, OWB, under your shoulder, behind your back, apendix position, no one can tell you any different in IN. As long as you stay out of federally prohibited places like post offices and schools you are good to go legally.

Read your license it doesn't say anything about concealed on it. Also please see the FAQ or the IC for places that you may not carry a gun.

I would suggest you read the law by yourself and not trust random people or some police officers that might tell you it's not legal to OC because they dont like it.

Yes you can carry in stores and restaurants but you can be charged with illegal trespassing if you are asked to leave and refuse to do so.

Go look up Indiana's firearm laws. There really aren't many restrictions.

Open carry anywhere you want. No gun signs have no law backing them. The most that will happen is you'll be asked to leave, if you don't you can be charged with trespass.

Like stated earlier, read the FAQ and/or the IC to find the prohibited places
