I think Putin is rattling Sabres and he is in nation building mode. I think he is pushing us as far as he can to see how we will react. I think he knows Obama is a lame duck and won't do anything in his final days. He is taking what he wants while he can get away with it.

If Trump gets in then we will see what Trump lets him get away with.

Moscow built 5,000 B-shelters in 2012 alone.I thought I heard the shelters are equal to the size of Washington DCs inside beltway beltway.

The Obama administration's foreign policy ineptness which HRC has been a part of has brought us to this brink.

No, Russia is preparing to defend its ally, unlike what we did in Ukraine when we abandoned our ally.

Presidential candidate Clinton says removing Assad in Syria is No. 1 priority | Reuters

Hillary Clinton calls for no-fly zone in Syria | MSNBC

This country is psychotic, preparing to fight a war of aggression against a nation who has done nothing to us, with the risk of a nuclear exchange with Russia. All because we're letting a sadistic warhawk get close to getting her paws on the button.

Oh but Trump said mean things, so nuclear war is preferable.

Has this country become 1 big open air insane asylum? Where is the outrage? Why is nobody trying to stop this witch from getting our children slaghtered?

Yeah. Like I stated previously. The Obama administration has really FUBAR'd this Syrian debacle from the get go and it looks like Hillary is looking to double down on this Obamination. What a ****ing mess.

Don't worry guys, I'm sure madame president will put Putin in his place

    Purple?? wheres the purple?? :):

I think that it's an interesting and sad situation. Obama has allow Putin to run free. If Hilary wins the situation will continue as is with Putin. If Trump wins and he tries tip stop him he will be blamed for the next mess. It's a win win for Democrats.

Stop Putin from doing what? Defending its ally against the US threatening to shoot down their planes and go to war with them, without any provocation?

There's nothing to stop except for our own government, Trump is the only one standing up to the madness of our middle eastern invention.

Our military has been gutted, we aren't prepared for this fight and Russia knows it, so it is no longer afraid to defend its allies.

Exactly. Say what you will about the GWB administration. Putin never gave an inkling about ramping up like this back then. This country has been turned into a weakling ready to be taken advantage of.

I don't know why we ever stopped building bomb shelters. The idea that nuclear war is the end of everything is absolute defeatist rubbish. It would be a hard road, but it would not be the end of these United States.

Let's hope it never comes to it because as a nation we are not prepared.

And, for the record, "duck and cover" is not the uselessness it is lampooned to be. The point was to protect those on the outer edge of the blast radius from flying glass, falling ceiling tiles, and other debris. In that role it would have been highly effective.

Syria, like its partner Iran, is not blameless in world affairs, being a state sponsor of terrorism against a number of countries, including ours. However, the current Administration and its preferred successor has absolutely no idea how to go about curbing such terrorism threats and has absolutely screwed up everything it's touched - and will continue to do so, if given the opportunity.

Quite the opposite of curbing. The current Administration is directly responsible for the creation of ISIS, funding, arming, and training Islamic splinter groups in Syria against Assad. This was directly against the advice of their intelligence services who predicted the rise of a radical Islamic movement due to this strategy.

Meanwhile the saudis funnel money and weapons to ISIS, media remains silent.
Meanwhile our own government funnels money and weapons to ISIS, even forcing US service members to train them, media barely covers it.
Meanwhile the last time we started this nonsense, massive amounts of service members refused to fight against Syria for our corrupt government, media barely covered it.

Russia starts bombing ISIS positions, and the US absolutely loses their collective minds, and now a presidential candidate is threatening open warfare against the second biggest military power on the planet.

If the Russians are preparing for war they will start by pulling back citizens to the motherland it is a funny Russian trait.
Russia would want to pick a fight where we would be extended geographically and away from main NATO countries.
Russia would want a quick series of battles then sue for peace to prevent a wider war.
Do not underestimate the Russian military they have had a unlimited amount of intel on the US since 2001 in the Middle East.
They have used that intel to form battle plans that will exploit the US weaknesses.
I have worked with several East European Armies Poland, Ukraine, Moldavia.
The Russian are hard as nails they train very realistically one factor is they will train once a month with no modern GPS, radios, radar, night vision.
If that doesn't impress you I was a a dinner and they passed around a skull full of vodka that you took a drink out of. The skull was of the last German soldier that unit had killed in 1945 they had a picture of him smiling before they shot him.

Not poilticly correct bunch of guys
