    Could be anywhere
    Pueblo sin Fronteras

Should be declared a criminal enterprise and their operatives should either not be allowed back or arrested on crossing the border.

Turns out, if SBA-backed loans weren't past a certain point in the process before the shutdown, then they are on hold.

That is, the banks that issue the loans, even though they may be SBA-compliant, won't close them because SBA is shuttered.

    That's a problem for some small business-owners.

Well, they just shut down Newark Airport for lack of air traffic controllers. My father-in-law just passed and trying to get all the NJ family in town for the memorial sunday is proving difficult...ugh. F*** politicians...

Sounds like a good time to privatize air traffic controllers.

PS My sincere condolences on your family's loss.

    **** just got real.

Sounds like a good time to privatize air traffic controllers.
I believe there are pockets of them at much smaller facilities, and it may be worth a discussion.

But no productive discussion comes when a gun is pointed at heads.

Remember when Reagan **** canned them? :):

Yes, I very much do - it directly affected me.

My father was one that thought the union was wrong and left (the union, not the FAA). We were transferred to Kalamazoo to fill in their shortage.

    What's your point? ATC's weren't privatized then, and there's a still a union.

Little is worse than a public employee union.
    I don't fully agree.

If you work for GM, you can always go work for Ford, or Honda, or Subaru... But if you're an ATC for the FAA, what options do you have when it comes to staying within your field?

I still don't see how that's relevant to the situation at hand.
