went with the wife to a antique mall the other day and saw what I think is a no no. the booth owner is selling a late 1800s early 1900s revolver. when i asked neither he or the shop have a ffl or c&r. are they looking for trouble.

Selling a personal firearm. I don't see the problem.
The antique mall is just a booth space the booth owner is renting.

Google the license requirements for pre 1899 firearms. I would give an answer, but I don't want anyone claiming I gave them advice about how to deal in firearms.

A private individual selling a firearm to another private individual, why wouldn't it be legal? Unless of course you're in my state where everything now has to go through and FFL.

thanks guys. my only concern was that the booth owner doesn't make the sale. you pay the mall not the booth owner.

If it's an antique it wouldn't change anything, but like Expat I'm not sure about it if it is not.
