I remember someone posted a heatmap of where guns used in Chicago homicides. Most of them were purchased in Illinois. Some, of course, were purchased in other states.

Yeah of course some come from different states, but chances are they weren't carried down the street in a bag and handed out. The majority were probably stolen or cartel supplied.

The guy is clearly an idiot wanting to blame it on anything other that what deserves the blame.
Blames people with " licenses going into a store and leaving with a gun the same day" . Wants to do bag checks, C'mon Man.

No mention of gang activity, revolving door justice system, broken school system, welfare state, single parent families etc etc.

No, they think it couldn’t possibly be that. SF politicians and pundits insist that the reason people are fleeing their utopia is because they’re racists. If all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
