JEBland
INGO's least subtle Alphabet agency taskforce spy
Sold on GunBroker for $950 as the opening bid.
Ithaca Model 37 20 gauge with a 28" barrel and modified choke. 2-3/4" chamber. Beautiful feathercrotch walnut on the right hand side of the stock. Appears to be the AAA grade https://ithacagunusa.com/product/wood-upgrade-fancy-aa-grade-black-walnut/. Listing the whole gun for the cost of the stock set if it were new, $950 (except they'll also charge you tax and shipping, so tack on another $80-100 for their stock).
The serial number starts with 37158, which the Ithaca site dates to 1976 (the gun predates my birth by 17 years or so - not original owner). Flat-bottomed forearm helps keep from canting the gun. Shoots great - I've smashed clays with it on a few range trips, but mostly it's been kept clean and in the safe. The action is incredibly smooth. Used Birchwood casey barricade on the metal after last use, and gun grease for the slide. Smoother than a new one. A couple of light scratches on the receiver and the stock isn't prefect, but still quite good. Overall a 90+% finish quality. Photos are cell phone photos and have been cropped to fit and filters changed to try to emphasize how it looks in person - I don't have a shop with fancy lighting and expensive digital cameras. The photos with auto settings did not do the gun justice. Last couple pictures are trying to emphasize the minor flaws.
I bought it to teach my fiancee, but it's a little too long for her and I can't bring myself to hack down that stock. So I'll clear out the safe a little.
Trade interests: Trijicon ACOG in very good condition, Tikka T3x Compact in 7mm-08 (+ cash). CZ 512 22 WMR (+ cash).
Please feel free to PM me with any questions. Don't bump the ad.
Meet in the Purdue area or along the places I'll travel in the upcoming weeks. I'll travel from Purdue to Southern Indiana on April 4th Easter day (basically a straight shot down 65, but a detour through the Bloomington area might work okay - would have to map it), towards the Chicago area on April 10th, and east on 70 on the morning of the 16tth. Can meet along the way as long as the stop isn't too long.
Want to see an Indiana license to prove residency and LTCH preferred, but no information will be recorded. I'm okay with doing the transfer through an FFL (buyer pays fees).
