Rumor has it ....... those eating lunch at Cloverdale on the 20th will have a typical Revolutionary War soldiers meal served. Just what was the typical ration? I guess you will need to sign up to find out!

Well, at the Niles, MI Appleseed a certain "pitmaster" has booked a fishing trip on the St. Joesph River and plans to have enough salmon to feed the AS staff and attendees grilled fresh salmon for Sat. lunch. Sunday lunch will be pulled pork.

Dang it! Got me beat, I was just bringing chili.

Last year in July 3 instructors and I caught 15 salmon out on Lake Michigan. That was a feast the next day.

In October I only caught a couple, but we had an instructors feast Sat. night.

My wife and Son are signed up for the Cloverdale event. We camp down in Spencer so this one will be closest. Ammo is really tight, so I guess I am there for moral support only .
