Ok well used car time. Looking for your thoughts! I am currently considering a Chrysler 300S or C (must have v8) or a Cadillac CTS with a v6. I've previously owned a charger r/t but want some that had a little more luxury feel to it. So now you know the size car I looking for and luxury and performance is key. What is your vote or do have have something else I should look into.

    thanks!!!

I would go with another charger, but I am biased as have owned three of them and currently have an R/T. Go for the hellcat edition since you want performance. Second vote is for the 300C those are pretty freaking sharp.

    .
Let me get this straight -

You previously owned a Charger R/T but have decided to downgrade to something else because of a few more bells and whistles?? :dunno:
Obviously you didn't deserve to have that Charger in the first place.

You can't just treat cars like this...:(

Downgrade? You have a mighty high opinion of Chargers.

    Ya-
    I don't know what I was thinking...

Doesn't make it a great performance car.

    Not much difference between a 300 with the V8 and a R/T.

Not to mention there are a lot of better or similar performing cars out there that are nicer.

OP, size is another thing you need to figure out. Do you want a car about the same size or a little smaller?

    Some to look at
    Taurus SHO
Lincoln MKS with the Turbo V6

    Audi S4
Infiniti Q40 - I think it is now. Used to be the G37 then the Q50
    BMW 335 or 535
    Mercedes C400
    Lexus IS350

Chrysler , luxury, performance do not belong in the same sentence. But if you go that route, make sure to get a fire extinguisher with the car.

    QFT. Chrysler's are heaps.

    Cadillac's are cancer.

Go buy a Ford Taurus. (I don't believe I just said that.)

My last employer had always driven a Cadillac. He then switch to a BMW and when I asked him about getting something different said he would never go back. There was absolutely no comparison in his opinion, and this was from a guy who could afford anything he wanted to drive.

Love my BMW, but I know there are people out there that will never get it.
Right now, I think Ford is where it is at if you are looking at the big 3 - for the time being.

My Dad owned a 300C and my in laws own a CTS They are both nice cars. My in laws have had far more problems with their CTS than my Dad did with his 300C. I would go with the 300C just for the outside look of the car. I like them better. I'm a MOPAR guy so I'm bias. My wife drives a Durango and I used to have a Dodge Ram with a Cummins. I now drive a Ford with a Power Stroke.

I'm a pickup guy. A Chevy/GMC guy in particular. They ride great; you can haul stuff; you can get them in "4-seaters" (if passenger room is important); they're easier to get into and out of; and you can get them with all the luxury features you want to pay for.
