Glock already made their "1911" it's called the model 37. I dig mine, probably the best shooting gun of the entire glock line, even if the caliber isn't available at walmart.

I don't think it's impossible, but very improbable. It's good business to swallow your pride once in awhile and change your way of thinking towards something that is a proven seller...even if it means copying someone else (like every top manufacturer has copied Glock already with polymer framed guns). HOWEVER, if Glock were to produce a 1911, they would surely find a way to make it GLOCK UGLY! ! !
