I am going to need a good IWB holster for the shield (or an extremely low profile owb) and was hoping that you guys could give me your suggestions... I also know that the market of Shield specific holsters is still a bit limited...

I'm a huge fan of the comp-tac mtac. It's very adjustable for cant, depth, retention, and there's a nice variety of clips for your preferred carry method. You can also purchase additional spare bodies if you decided to change up your EDC. I like it a lot better than my crossbreed.

+1 for Comp-Tac. I've got a drawer full of holsters. It is the best one I have tried so far. I am wearing it now with my Shield 9mm. All day, every day no issues. It's modular too, meaning you can switch out the kydex piece so that you can use the holster for multiple pistols. I switch back and forth between my Glocks and the Shield with a few turns of an Allen wrench.

I have had great luck with the Dale Fricke Archangel, for AIWB. A big +1 for comp tac for traditional IWB.

We can make you a custom kydex one to suit your needs. Maybe something similar to this but with IWB loops.

    Shield Holster

I recommend the Stealth Defense Strut Holster for great concealment and comfort. Its the only one of it's kind. They have a video that explains how it works.

Talk to dtrap or slowhand from this forum and have them make you a custom one for your shield. Doug (slowhand) has made my last two holsters and I have been very pleased with his work. Not to mention that he is a great guy.
