I had a chance to buy a J. Purdy double barrel muzzle loader tonight at an auction. It was an extremely old bird gun in what I would call extremely rough condition. But it sold for around $800. Did I mess up by backing out? I bet it was 150 years old.

Not knowing which model or anything about the gun i could not tell you forsure, but if it was one of these then big mistake on stopping!
