I was talking with a friend on the phone over the weekend. Said they had just bought a bottle of the new JD Tennessee Honey product. He loves it. Told me to get out and buy a bottle soon. I did so earlier today. Just poured a small glass of it.

Oh well....it should kill those dandelion patches I saw in the yard.

I have not tried the JD Honey yet. I did pick up a 5th of Jim Beam Red Stag on the recommendation of a buddy. I'm more of a Vodka or even a good scotch person but this stuff wasn't bad.

The local liquor store has shooters for $.99, which is cheaper than buying a fifth, so I'll pick up a few from time to time and toss them in the freezer. YUM

IIRC, they are 50 ml...750(a fifth) divided by 50 gives you a $15.00 bottle of American Honey if you buy 15 of them; conveniently packaged in shot-sized bottles.

I thought it was some kind of sale they were running, because they were in a basket by the counter with a bunch of other stuff, but I noticed they had a bunch of them on the wall behind the counter and I've been buying them for $.99 for at least 6 months now.

They were out last time I was in there and the JD Honey were $2.31 a piece.
