My recommendation is to not go with the .40. I have it, and the mag drop issue is real.

Although smith took very good care of me and got it fixed very quickly, and now it's awesome.

My thing with the shield is that it seems slightly too big for pocket carry and if I'm going to holster up why not go with my Glock 26? Yes the shield is thinner than the 26 but?

I often do.
