Middle age, former athletes can do it, and not be sore in the morning.

Fat ,ugly, guys in blue shirts can run the timer for 15 year old girls that will be kicking his butt in a few years:):

This stuff is fun, if youre thinking about shooting competition this is a great way to get started.

(Am I being clear enough about who the fat, ugly guy is?)

I was talking to someone at the match this evening about trying to bring friends to this match but they would not come for something titled Newbie. What I was trying to get across to the new to competition crowd is that the big guns would not be around to intimidate folks. There will be instruction on breaking down stages, absorbing the draw, target engagement order, when and how to reload, and more. All questions will be answered. So if you are passing because you think it will be overly basic it would be wise to rethink. If you are passing because you are concerned about safety don't be alarmed.

How many mags do we need for this? Glock 19 guy. I do not have a magazine pouch but that really was not a problem at the class.

    Thanks

I would take at least 3 (depending on what division you are shooting) more if you have them. I would try to get a mag pouch between now and then, Just my opinion.

I bought a "5 In-line Mag Pouch" by Tuff Products that I plan on using. I think I got it from Midway USA. Should be fun and good follow on from the Intro class last week!

I'd be coming from Castleton, so getting there by 6 could be tough with rush hour traffic. What time is the shooter's meeting?

The shooters meeting will go down right at 6pm hopefully. Not any sooner. Get there when you can.
