I have loooked on threads from time to time I think I need to become a supporter I have seen a couple things in classifieds that have interested me I live in Fort Wayne and just getting back into shooting lately. Also a collector of old firearms love the history in shooting an old gun. So hi to everyone

OK, where to begin...

50 quality posts are required for access to the classifieds. Site Supporter status bypasses this, but the vetting process of being an active member here is why many choose to use the classifieds here.

INGO is a discussion forum with a classifieds section. We are not Armslist or Gunbroker. We are more like a big dysfunctional family than anything, but it's OUR big dysfunctional family.

In my signature line (along with the links to the site and classifieds rules) you'll see "come for the classifieds, stay for the discussion." That sums up a lot about INGO.

Also we are different from most places on the Interwebz since we quite often know each other in the realz. We have shot together, eaten together, and cried together when we lost more friends than I can count.

Like I said: come for the classifieds, stay for the discussion.

Yes, the site supporter status will gain you access to the classified section, but understand this.
As Kellyinavon said, the vetting process here is real.
You may find many that don't want to deal with you if you don't participate in the discussions.
Hence the prompt to, "tell us a little bit about yourself for our files..."

Many people here want to deal with people they know something about. Simple participation can give us a little insight into what type of person you are, and ease people's jitters about dealing g with strangers.

It's up to you, but there is a great bunch of people people here, and an occasional jerk.

It can get pretty wild in here at times, but there's always an interesting discussion to be found, and much knowledge to garner.

And also dont take us or yourself too seriously. Lots of new folks come in with a chip on their shoulder and end up getting kicked off because they got butthurt over something some total stranger said to/about them and broke the rules by lashing out with personal attacks.
