Here's the thing about karens - both female karens and male karens: they're likely being prescribed SSRIs or SNRIs way too much.

    I may be way off.

I just don't understand how adults go so batty so regularly.

There's an old adage that says,
"It takes all kinds to make the world go 'round".

I'm not sure it really "takes" all kinds, but we've got them anyway.
    They're all out there, somewhere...

I agree with mom being a karen and loving drama, but IMO it was him using rape in a joking way that set her off.
Reading this thread caused me to do some soul-searching. Now that I'm an old man and my kids are adults, is it time to come clean the next time they ask, "Dad, did you ever ___________?"

    Nah.
I've came clean about a couple of things, but yeah to the Nah.

    Nah.
Sometimes it’s better to plead the 5th, or give open ended answers like “what do you think?” or “that’s silly, why would I do that?” My rule is to neither confirm nor deny such accusations, however, having two older sisters that remember every stupid thing you ever did really doesn’t help.

My son talked to his friend, and he asked his mom if she called the cops. She confirmed and said she did what any caring person would do. :dunno:

Seriously, who in their right mind would read that conversation and think someone is getting abused? I mean, my 17 year old kid is stupid and does stupid things, but we are talking about a flipping adult here.
