The opening dialogue of the first episode was inspired.

    "Why are we here?"

Cracks me up just thinking about that opening scene.

You can also buy a cored that plugs into the Xbox and control. Acts like a wired controller. Don’t need batteries that way.

My almost 11 year old son is completely obsessed with Rocket League right now.

We we also enjoy playing Madden football together.

CM, I have Halo 4 (I think it's 4?) for the 360. If you want it, let me know and I'll drop it in the mail for you. It came with my 360 when I bought it used a few years ago. I tried to play it once, but just couldn't get into it. I can see what other games I might have too.

+1 for Left For Dead. I currently have no gaming consoles. My wife will let me go to shooting matches every weekend. She won't let me play games. :dunno:

My wife and kid had a blast playing the Rock Band games. They are pretty kid safe.
My wife was also obsessed with Viva Pinata for a while.

After playing BF, I just can't stand COD or Halo.

Another vote for the first and second Halo, I'm not a gamer myself, but those two were lots of fun. My favorite ever on 360, however, is Left for dead! Both 1 and 2 are excellent to run through chapters quickly, or spend some time to wander around, or hole up in a strategic spot and lay waste to hordes of zombies. I mean, how many other games give you the ability to bash a clown zombie in the face with the butt of an AK, and you can hear his big red nose honk when you hit him?:):

And yet another vote for Halo. I have a couple of copies of 360 games I'll send you (Halo1/3 and others) if you like. I have the Master Chief Collection, so some of the games are redundant.

Yes, but for non-console people (yes, they do exist and no, there's nothing wrong with that) the 360 can still be a fun platform.

I should've laced it with purple...I have an Atari 2600 and a Sega Genesis, as well as a game cube... :P

Really? Dammit. I already threw it away on Caleb's advice. :):

Man, people actually listen to my advice?

Well, in Caleb's defense, at this point, a 360 is kinda like a Hipoint. Kinda fun, but no body wants to admit it. :D

    No...a Dreamcast is a hipoint...

Oh hell no. The Dreamcast was an awesome system. It just didn't have the 3rd party support.

My head-to-head PC glory days were Doom and Duke Nukem! Hours and hours ona dial-up modem!

Dial-up modem? Please. We were playing LAN Doom games. Two computers across the house yelling to each other to communicate. HAHAHAHAHA, those were the days.

Later in life, my cousin and I would play Counter-Strike together. We would set up a laptop on the same room as a desktop, log in to separate accounts and own the room. It wasn't uncommon for use to die and then run the show from there.
