Just test fired my first DIY built AR15 upper.
It worked flawlessly, even after sitting in the cold in my trunk all night.

I just wanted something to work with my Trijicon ACOG scope.

Assembly went smoothly with no issues.
This COULD be something addictive! :)

    Parts list:
    1. Aero Precision Upper
    2. BCM Bolt Carrier Group (MPI) - Auto
    3. BCMGUNFIGHTER Charging Handle (5.56mm/.223) w/ Mod 4 (MEDIUM) Latch

    4. BCM BFH 16" Mid Length Barrel, Stripped
    5. Standard A2 Flash Hider
    5. BCM Low Profile Gas Block (steel with set screws) 750
    7. Magpul MOE Handguard - MID Length - BLACK

Glad to hear it went well... I built mine all the way up. Nothing like shooting something you have built yourself. Are you into reloading? I just started this past summer. Nothing like shooting your own loads out of a rifle you put together.. I am sure this will not be the end of your building projects. I want to build another upper for mine but may just wait till I have that suppressor for mine for the current one..

I've gathered some reloading stuff and saved my brass over time and am getting ready to get into it.
I built an FNFAL (STG-58) on an Imbel receiver some years back when the parts kits were all matching and pristine.
I'm sure I'll build some more.
