DJT is the president who could pardon a former Democrat governor of Illinois, infamous for trying to sell a US Senate seat to the highest bidder. But, to KG’s point, he’s not a socialist, a nanny stater, SJW, etcetera. So I guess I have to put up with a bad but better than the alternatives choice.

Did he not say he would eliminate the debt? He’s not even paying down the interest. As I recall he made a boast that he would fix it. How about not touching Medicare and protecting patients with pre-existing conditions? He made that promise at the SOTU, and was lying through his teeth, as not even a week later his administration was in court doing to opposite. Are those also trivial?

Don't forget about simplifying the tax code and getting us to "postcard 1040's"... and then he did the opposite and added six new schedules.
