ka-bar question

I recently purchased a modern KA BAR full size. my question is have they always been this light? or were the older ones made out of heavier material. I only ask because I was shocked at how light this thing is.

Are you sure it is a REAL kabar and not a china made knock off?
I sell them and I sell the real ones.

I have a ka-bar Chinese knockoff...not bad for a cheap knife for the price I paid

I belive its real. came with paperwork is stamped ka-bar on the blade. seems very well made and nice balance to. just feels lighter than other knives ive had of similar size. it weighs 302.6g

Is that ALL it says on the blade.?? Tell me everything it says on the blade. please. KaBars are lightweight but not all of them are made in the USA anymore. I only carry the USA made ones they sell better.

My K-BAR is very light, but its one of their folding knives. If its real it should be able to shave the hair off your arm with no problem.

Not sure if it makes a difference or not. Mine has the leather handle, the newer synthetic material handles may be lighter?
