I recently had the barrel cut down from my 12.5" Advanced Armament Co. 300 BLK upper. I had the handguard removed by a professional gunsmith who used the QD method (using two rods inserted into the QD hole at the rear of the handguard and turning the 2 rods no barrel nut wrench needed ) to remove the tricky URX 3.1 handguard.
The handguards have never been fired, but have had a hand stop, light, and optic mounted.
Here are pics, barrel nut is still attached due to using the QD method used but undamaged, you can use the same method to install or you can remove the barrel nut from the upper handguard and then install.
PRICE SOLD $200 obo cash ftf Westfield/Carmel area or paypal gift preferred if shipped... will also take USPS MO for info PM
