Kahr CW380

Got a Kahr CW380, and right out of the box recognized the difficulty charging the pistol. I called Kahr, they said shoot 200 rounds, and that they didn't off a replacement recoil spring assembly that had a lighter weight. Unlike a Glock I can't find a replacement. Contacted Brownells, nothing. Midwayusa, nothing, Lone Wolf, nada. Read a few forums, haven't really seen much to help. Any ideas on making a CW380 more woman friendly?

Try www.gunsprings.com. They make them for Kahr and possibly a lighter one for the CW380. Or just go shoot it a bunch, the spring will loosen up!

Take a look at your technique first. That's the issue with most people who have no physical issue (i.e. injury, arthritis, etc.). Mess with the recoil spring too much and you can affect reliability and/or shorten the life of your pistol
