    I read that story yesterday. Not the brightest thing to threaten a lawyer in my opinion. Does he have tape to prove it though? It would be his word against several others.

    I see in the comments some people are saying the cop is just describing how a normal search goes. So, a normal search is to break down the door, shoot the dog and ransack the house? That sounds like it could be a threat too no matter how they try to spin it. I sure hope he has it recorded and broadcasts it everywhere.

    If they bust in and kill your pets that were secure and not able to harm officers, that is destruction of life and property. An offense that in some places allows deadly force. That'd be an interesting case.
