    I believe it's some sort of psychological problem with people who feel the need to impersonate authority figures. I know there have been times I wish I were a cop, but that certainly didn't make me want to buy a fake badge and start pulling people over... :rolleyes:

    I always assumed people like this were the same as people that put themselves in the middle of police situations, to try to look like a hero or for the attention.

    They want all the fun, but without the paperwork and schedules.
    This. They want the control and to feel like they have authority over others. But they dont want to do the work to become a cop. Same reason why some mall cops are jerks. (or they dont have the skills to actually do it)

    Kinda like the guy who purposefully walked slow the long way to the store's doors in front of my car, making me wait for him. At first I was ticked. Then I felt sorry for him. What a sorry life these types must lead.
