That's a dirty lie....PF9 reassembly makes me wish the gun was together so I could shoot it with it.
....the execution of this event is highly complex.

    :)

Looks great though. Now what can you do about those corners on the beavertails area?

Honestly, attaching the rear sight, front sight, firing pin + spring and extractor took maybe 10-15 minutes. That is all the "reassembling" that I had to do.

WOW- makes me want to try this now!

The only "hard" part seems to be finding a friend to blast it. Most of us would probably have to look up a blasting shop from the phonebook and pay the $50 fee or whatever.

And I agree, re-assembly of this particular gun is dead simple.

I think I am out of blasting medium but most dentists have a hand held "sand blaster" that uses aluminum oxide and other mediums to clean off projects in the lab. I am going to have to get the thing up and running again.

I don't have a PF-9 but I do have a P-11 and I can take it down and put back together again in 10 minutes.

...yeah Lucas, I thought she was ugly too, but then she grew on me. I took her to lunch today and she ate a whole box of WallyWorldFed. This baby banged without failure.

Nice job! Got me thinking about doing that to my P-11 since the blueing is wearing off on the corners already.
Regionnus Rattis, have you ever had any problems with your retaining pins backing out of your frame on your P-11? Sometimes, after shooting about 50 rounds or so, I have to push them flush again. :dunno:

I used to have this problem with my PF9, I know it's not a P-11 but seems to be a somewhat common thing with a couple of other people I know who own both P-11 and PF9 as well.
I bought the belt clip for this (it comes with two screws to put in place of the plastic pins) the screws would come loose untill I used some loctite, the problem went away. I eventually took the clip off, 'switched back to ITW holster and kept the screws in place, it worked fine that way also. :bacondance: ....sorry I could'nt resist, this is how happy I was. I paid what I felt was a pretty penny for a gun that seemed to come apart too often.
