They do accept any standerd AR mag. Honestly though, I would rather have an AR pistol. I had one of the the SU-22 rifles. The baby of the SU-16. Needless to say I traded it.

Mine (22 version) works great. I will never sell it.

Very happy with my su-16, same guts. For me though id prefer to shoot 223 out of a rifle.
