Just a quick question on the Kel Tec S2K carbine, I know they come in G17 and G19 versions, but does the G19 version accept G17 mags? I assume it does since I always see the 33 round mags besides the carbine. But you know where assumptions get you. :D

The Glock 17 is a full size magazine, with the 19 as a compact.

So the 17 will just stick out a bit more.

Now the trouble is just to find one. Best of luck with that.

Yea I know it, Orion Arms in Jeffersonville had a couple 2 or 3 weeks ago. I don't know about now though. Ahh well I will give it time and see, there's a few things on my want list so no rush. Just looks like a fun carbine! And a lot cheaper than a 9mm AR.

I can never keep those Glock models straight, but I got the longer of the two. I just feed it with 33s anyway, so it doesn't really matter, but I got the longer of the two, whichever one it was.

My old one was a G17 model and fit the G17 mags flush, and would not fit the G19 mags (obviously). However, the grip on the G17 model is more like a G19 in size, and the G19 felt somewhere between a G19 and a G26 in grip size to me.

As JoshuaW said, the grips feel much shorter than the companion pistol. Having said that, G19 versions are much harder to find than th G 17 models. Lots of folks just chop the G17 grip to G19 length.

I agree. I was able to find a G19 model and the grip IS shorter (although the G19 magazine does fit.) I had to chop quite a bit off the Hogue grip to stop it hanging down over nothing.
