Dad bought this one in the 60's and it's a .44 cal, so not what you asked for but could be available. Has a bag, powder horn loading accessories to go with it. I have fresh CCI #11 caps if anyone needs them.

He got it from Dixie Gun Works.

This hasn't been fired since the late 60's. I just ran a bore scope down it and there is a small amount of rust in the chamber area while the rest of the bore looks new. The nipple looks good. I would not hesitate to clean and fire it.

Made in Italy and imported by Intercontinental Arms Inc.

Let me know if you have any interest and we can figure out reasonable pricing.

I built a Traditions kit last winter. I'm sure I have pictures of it posted somewhere in the BP thread. I wouldn't call it historically accurate but it will scratch that long rifle itch. Mine is remarkably accurate.

40 years old is fine provided it's not been improperly cleaned.
BP, being hydroscopic can do a lot of damage over the years.
Forgot about that aspect. If in doubt run a bore scope down the barrel and look for pitting.

You can find the ones that attach to your smart phone pretty cheap now.

Real BP is 30 a LB.
If you can wait till spring. Go to friendship...lots of new and used rifles prices all over the board.
The Outdoorsman used to carry it. I bought a lot from them. And there was a place in Shelbyville that would sell to the public. That was a decade ago.

Midway and other major sporting outfits have BP rifles available at relatively inexpensive prices.

True but those inexpensive BP rifles are usually TC or CVA and more in a Hawkens style

    Arriving too late.

    Beat me to it.

I made enough money to buy a decent Kentucky rifle, but I ****** it away so fast.

    Meh....at least I didn't **** it away on a glock.

Deer Creek is actually here in Indiana, might be worth the trip to see, or check their website, I've bought a few things from them, they are Jonny on the spot about shipping.
Same. I've driven out a couple of times, cool little place.

I have 2 that I used for reenactments and hunting. Both are .45.
First Is a Golden Age from the 70s that I got on GB 2 years ago for $200. It appears to have been converted from flint to percussion and has a very effective set trigger:

The second I built from a DGW kit on a locally-selected stock, back when I didn't really know what I was doing in 1984. Looks not so great, but shoots well:
