I will not play violent video games and will not allow my kids to do so.

....but it's not because I think they'll go out and start killing people.

From the replies I read. Every game player is totally responsible person.
Then Every gun owner must be just as responsible.
Every car owner is totally responsible drivers and would never drive the wrong way on an Expressway.
So what's your argument here? A small subset of each of those categories is irresponsible. You started the thread and simplified the problem to video games. Now you need to backup your statement. Go ahead and take your time. We'll wait.

Not every gun owner is responsible. Perhaps I'll make the claim that it's the gun's fault they do bad things.

You'd want evidence if I said that, right?

I have done unspeakable things in GTA involving hookers and baseball bats. I have rescued tons of hostages after wiping out groups of terrorists in CS. I have ran 4KM and killed a bunch of people along the way in Pubg. But then there is real life. Hookers are too expensive, so I can't do the first thing. I'm not a SEAL so I'm not rescuing any hostages. 4km run? My fat a** can barely run 400 meters without wanting to die. Games are just games.

Ahhh yes, video games... nothing more realistic than flying a helicopter into a battle, parachuting out to jump in a tank, hopping out to repair it before abandoning it to use your sniper rifle

I have countless hours in the Fallout series and Skyrim with probably thousands of kills. I'm 32 been playing violent games since 10 and still haven't gone on a spree. My parents raised me to know the difference between real and not real.

After playing Pac-Man, I did start eating a crap ton of cheese balls and running from ghosts. Soooo yes.... violent video games can create killers.

I play ALL of the video games you're mentioning, AND I have access to firearms. I wonder why I'm not killing anyone or going on a shooting spree? I've been playing them since I can remember. The point is invalid by my example, and I'm sure a plethora of others.
