I have a Kimber Ultra Carry 2. The factory 7 round mag will feed anything I give it. I have two Shooting Star mags that will nose hollow points and most ball on the first round every time. The other 6 feed fine. I would like to get a few more mags but I dont want to waste money on mags that wont feed. Anyone know whats up with these mags or tell me some that will feed like the Kimber mags. Thanks.

Well, my 1911s feed fine with the Chip McCormick Shooting Star mags, but you could always try the PowerMags from him, or the old standby, Wilson 47D's. The new, hot thing in 1911 mags right now I understand are the Tripp Research Cobra mags, but I haven't had any reason to try them.
