My Tactical II did that... First thing I did was switch to Cobra Mags from Tripp Research (recommendation from Brownells) and the problem didn't get any worse and has pretty much worked itself out. After about 1000 rounds everything now looks smooth again and you can't even see it.
If you search on the Kimber forums you'll see this is a common issue and 99% of the time it fixes itself without detriment as long as people don't go sanding and grinding through the annonization. You'll get this for a couple hundred rounds and then it stops.
