    Both guns traded, thank you.

    What
: Pair o' Kimbers, not being loved in the way that they need to be loved. More below. For sale or trade. I generally like to trade more than I like to sell, and that's true this time... but there's not really much keeping me up at night lately. These guns can go together or can be separated.

Where: Terre Haute, but could go anywhere in the state for the right deal.

    Descriptions:

traded: Kimber SIS Custom: As you Kimbermaniacs know, this one is no longer being made. It was advertised and sold as unfired, and I don't see anything that would make me doubt that. The only marks I see anywhere are the rubs on the grip safety showing it's been gripped a few times. It's difficult to really show the finish of the SIS in photos -- it's unusual, interesting. I think you can kind of see it in a couple of the photos. It's a very nice-looking gun. Again, case and goodies, and the original magazine. Porn below. Yours for $1250.

Kimber Ultra Carry II with Crimson Trace grips, Limited Edition
. traded I know, you'll look at the pics and wonder what kind of Fronkenshteen monster I've created, just like I did when I first saw it. Not so, noble Kimber enthusiast. This is a limited edition that, as I understand it, was only made for Gander Mountain (note the GM in the serial...) It's an Ultra Carry II, but with a strange color scheme and CT grips that was a Gander exclusive. You can see the original product page here:

Gander Mountain® > Kimber Ultra Carry II .45 ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol with Crimson Trace Laser Grip - Firearms > Handguns > Semi-Auto Pistols :

I've *read on the interwebz* that only 250 were made. Dunno whether that's true, but it's definitely an unusual bird. In great shape, just a little rubbing and a little chip where someone pressed IN a little too much when re-assembling. Not a full idiot scratch, as you can see from the photos, but up under the slide stop, there's a small chip. Just full disclosure. No idea on round count, but couldn't be more than a couple hundred, from the looks of it. I've two magazines through it without any issues, just to test it. My hands are too big for Ultras and my high grip tends to obscure the laser, so not really a fit for me. As you can see on the ad above, it went for $1199. Given that it was only sold at Gander, it probably really did sell for every bit of $1199. It can be yours for $900, with case, goodies, and an extra mag for a total of two. More could be arranged, if needed. Porn below.

Trade interests: Hmmm. Well, I love 1911s. I'd love to get my grubby little cookie-grabbers on something in 10mm -- if it happened to be a 1911, even better. There are some Kimbers that would get it done, in 9mm, .45, or 10mm. You might be able to interest me in HD/tactical-type shotguns, other good handguns, maybe an AR in something other than 5.56. Maybe a really sexy AK. Maybe parts to build an SBR (AR). Of course, the fun part of the trade thing is that you might interest me in something I never even thought of. PROBABLY NOT interested in revolvers, bolt rifles, sport/skeet shotguns, pocket guns -- but I won't get (*) if you offer them as long as you don't get (*) if I politely decline. NON-GUN trade possibilities: ATV, riding mower/tractors, good DSLR camera gear, maybe something else... who knows? I'll also entertain multi-gun trades of things I haven't mentioned -- if you have a pair o' plastic pistols and would like to trade them for a 1911, let's talk about it. Maybe we can work it out.

Multi-trades, trades +/- cash, and trades involving *live* garden gnomes are fine. Barnyard animals, maybe.

    Porn removed, guns gone.
