    A suggestion.

Have you looked at the Walther PPS 9mm? Its a single stack, super thin, and the ergonomics are amazing. It's a step up in size from the pocket guns. I am also partial to the ambi paddle style mag release. Not to mention saving yourself some money for mags and a holster in the process. :)

These are the two I have narrowed my search down to. Do you prefer one over the other? Why?

both great guns...both shoot great.....both have very nice trigger but I prefer the smoothness of the Kahr trigger

both reliable and will shoot anything you feed it .

If you intend to carry in a holster I would go with the shield..

If you want to pocket carry go with the Kahr...as its a decent amount smaller than the shield.

both are right around the $400 dollar amount ....

you cant go wrong with either gun and will be happy with both!

good luck , and hope this helped

I don't think I will pocket carry too much if at all. I want thin more than small and both are pretty close that way.

One thing I am finding is that both are very hard to find right now. So far I have found 1 Shield at a local store but he wants $460 which is over MSRP. I can get a new CM9 off gunbrokers for $420 shipped or a used one from an individual (says 300 rds) for $400 shipped.

I have read some complaints about Kahr warranty and shipping policy which has me leaning toward the Shield.
