Correct me if I'm mistaken, Kirk, but the only person who can allow or prevent that impeachment would be the Speaker, who likely is complicit.

There is no statute of limitations I'm aware of on either treason or these "high crimes and misdemeanors", but other than waiting for the office to change hands, what option remains?

I think our dear leader is abrogating his duties. He is to enforce the laws of this country as the chief law enforcement officer. I do not think that they deserve amnesty just because they have so many of them here. I want border security, enforcement of criminal laws against employing illegals, and no amnesty. I also don't believe the children of illegals should have automatic citizenship. That just defies fairness and logic.

No amnesty should be given except by way of satisfactory military service. The bammer and pelosi shoud be held personally accountable for every life lost, every injury endured by our citizens and every cent of property damage caused by the illegals. This has got to stop sometime. by ingo you mean u.s. everything is tin foil hat talk until it happens, if i would've told anyone 10 years ago that the government would let armed foreign drug dealers kill whoever they want in arizona just b/c someone has his panties in a bunch over a bill.. i think they would've broke out the tar & feathers. media is the biggest weapon the govt has.. someone does something they don't like (the arizona militia patrol for example, randy weaver for another) media makes them out to be crazy, nazi's, terrorists, drug addicts, etc. and people are so used to it they do the same to anyone saying the govt may have complex and evil reasoning behind anything they do. but either way i'm not saying its true or false.. just a reasonable motive as to why nothing is being done. even if its not true, wanting things your own way is no excuse for what is going on down there.

EVERYONE here has been personally affected by illegal immigration. From our tax dollars going to support illegals and illegal's kids in schools/social programs. Our healthcare costs rising, in part because of illegals who just show up in ERs and can't pay. The lower level jobs they take away from Americans, but don't pay taxes for. This is just for starters.

No, I have never had an illegal beat me down in a dark alley, I don't have to in order to be opposed to illegal immigration. We are a country of immigrants....LEGAL immigrants. One could argue that there were no laws when people first landed, but the moment there was the inception of law for this sovereign nation we call the USA, they were/are to be followed. My ancestors came over in the 1800's they were legal.
