CRKT M21-14. I admit, I bought it because it looks cool. It has flippers on either side for easy deployment, and the size (3.8 in blade) and partial serrations are useful (at least for me) for most everyday tasks.
I also usually have a Vic Swiss Army Compact in my pocket.
I routinely carry 3 knives daily. No I don't cut three things at once but each knife I carry has a purpose. Today I am carrying these three.
The small peanut on the bottom left is my social knife for today. It is there so I have a small knife I can use in polite company without scaring the little old ladies. My social knife is a dressy type knife normally, quite often something that most would call pretty.
On top of the cholla is the second type of knife I carry, this is usually a larger locking blade and it is used for cutting chores that are a bit much for the social knife. Things like blister packs, cutting heavier cordage, etc.It is large enough to make some uncomfortable so I do try to use it away from the eyesight of gentlefolk.
The third knife never leaves my pocket. It is strictly for emergencies only. It is kept as sharp as possible and stays that way without daily cutting chores dulling the edge. It is what I would reach for to cut a seatbelt, remove heavy denim from a wound so it can be dressed, times when I absolutely need the sharpest blade I can get.
So today it is a Colt peanut, an AG Russell Platt's swell center sunfish, and an old Spyderco Police Model in black.
