    Hey INGO

I decided to make a few strops and it turns out, people really like them so I'm offering a cost effective set of strops to match what your needs are.

Stropping is a quick, easy way to keep a sharp edge on a blade. Stropping after sharpening removes the burr and quickly restores the edge after use. Give it a few light strokes as soon as it starts to loose that "sticky" feel to the edge and it will bring it right back.

Stropping also creates that mirrored polished edge that looks fantastic!

I'm offering 4 different sizes. All sizes include smooth bare leather on one side and a .5 micron chromium oxide abrasive compound (commonly called "green compound") on the other side as well as a paracord handle. To take the guess work out of finding the angle, I also include a cut out of a 20 degree angle on the side. Just line the blade up and you're good to go.

These strops are lightweight and will make an excellent addition to your BOBs, GHBs and Camping/Hiking packs. Larger sizes look great in the kitchen.

    THE SPIKE is 5.5"L x 1.5"W - $10 + $5 shipping

    THE HOSS is 5.5"L x 3"W - $20 + $5 shipping

    THE BRUTE is 10"L x 1.5"W - $20 - $5 shipping

    THE BRUISER is 10"L x 3"W - $35 - $5 shipping

I can do custom sizes as well. Just PM details and I'll get you pricing.

Shipping is $5 and I will combine shipping for multiple strop orders. I can also meet face to face if you're in or near Greenwood/South Side of Indy.

I accept PayPal Gift at jldowneyiii@hotmail.com, check, money order or cash.

I'm also a big fan of the barter system. I shoot 9mm, 22lr, .223/5.56. I like knives and I am happy to take silver. Will entertain other offers, just PM me details.

Here are some images. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Folks are really buying these up.

I am currently out of stock on the 10"L x 3"W but expect to have more stock by the end of the week. I only have 1 of the 5.5"L x 3"W, 2 of the 10"L x 1.5"W and plenty of stock on the 5.5"L x 1.5"W.

Thank you all who have ordered and given such great feedback. Your support is very much appreciated! :rockwoot:

A quick update. I am sold out at this point except for two 5.5x1.5 strops.

I will have more stock by the end of the week so don't hesitate to PM me with your order. Please understand that it may be a day or two before shipping. I'll update again when flush with strops.

For those who have already PM'd, your orders are set.

    Thank you INGO!

These are awesome. I'm completely tapped out right now due to a few large purchases I have made recently. I will be getting a large one for the kitchen when funds allow

I am still getting the hang of using these things but man do they finish up the edge!

I just got the Spike, Hoss, and Brute and I can not believe the next level they take my knives too.

Do not hesitate to purchase from this guy... he even spent the time to show me how to use them and shaved his arm with my knife.
