My phone still only makes calls and texts, but if you want to learn knots for free try this: Animated Knots by Grog | How to Tie Knots | Fishing, Boating, Climbing, Scouting, Search and Rescue, Household, Decorative, Rope Care, Shows step-by-step instructions for many common (and uncommon) knots. Put your phone down, use both hands, pick up a rope and practice this. We use this to teach knots to new students. If you cant tie these in the dark, with gloves on you need more practice. It is not often you need to tie a knot, but when you do, you need to tie it fast and correctly.
