It's dull and the angles are asymmetric through the curve from the belly to the tip. I've used a carbide pull-through sharpener and other sharpening options to try to get a clean edge, but realize that I am in over my head and throwing in the towel and looking for expert assistance. I got it back in 2001 and it's been hanging on a wall, but with things growing more odd (crime creeping into the 'burbs, economy sucking and a growing fracture in the American fabric between takers and makers) each day, I am putting everything I have into "service" form and honing my preparedness.

I would be happy to help as well. I have put a lot of money into a GREAT sharpening system and have had great success in making some razor edges. Also I'm working on becoming a site advertiser as we speak! PM for pricing!
