Kokomo Pawn Shop Burglary

Heard that a local Kokomo pawn shop was burglarized last Friday. Made off with 12 handguns and several tactical long guns. Security cameras recorded the break-in. The intruders were in and out in 27 seconds. Handguns were stored in a glass display case and long guns were on racks behind the counter. Place was alarmed and had bars on the windows. I was surprised they did not lock up the handguns at night, in a safe. The stolen gun are probably on the streets of Chicago by now.

Sadly, Kokomo seems to be following the trend of Lafayette and not getting any better....

27 seconds is very fast. I am guessing response time was well over 4 minutes to the alarm.

I stopped into the Cash Loan Pawn today and they were well stocked with firearms again actually better than before the robbery.

Nothing that stuck out to me. Blue Diamond had some older guns if you live there or visit Kokomo much. You are correct though it's hard to find good deals at pawn shops, but I still like going.

I ran that Cash Loan and Security pawn shop back in 1995/96. I was was the manager in charge when they first got their FFL.

Hard to imagine someone can get threw the door, back to the gun counter, grab handfuls of guns, and leave the store in 27 seconds.

Don't underestimate the Chicago boyz.
Chances are they were from that area.
Been swooping down pretty regular.
