Anybodys antennas just gone up? Here is what happened, I bought a 16 gun collection and included is an 1884 L.C. Smith side by side made by the Hunter Arms Co. Fulton N.Y. Now I have a guess that I got a real good deal but I really dont know a basic value. I've consulted older guys who seem interested but you know as well as I do that everybody wants a great find. It has auto ejectors and Im told that it is a 1st gen L.C. I relize that some one has bought the pattend and is producing new L. C.'s but there is a difference right????

Hold onto that one. Back in my youth when I went deer hunting with my grandad he used to let me use a 20 gauge L.C. Smith double barrel. It was a sweet shotgun and I really wish I had it now. The engraving on it was sheer artistry. I am always looking for L.C.'s at gun shows. They're like finding hen's teeth.
