    They're here, there, and everywhere!!!!
They want to take over my house, workplace and property in general.

Can anyone advise how (short of my Rem. 870) to get rid of these little blighters?

I'm trashing, flushing, defenestrating and otherwise anihilating about 100-200 of these a day, and still they keep on comin'

    I'm going to win, somehow . . . .

Asian beetle I think, not a true lady bug.

THEY SUCK and stink when you crush them.

I use a hand vacuum to get them, picking them up will make your hand stink.

If you have a crawlspace under your house they are likely in there wintering over. Call a pest control specialist and they'll get rid of them for you. They could also be in an attic.

My vote's for the pump gun... :D I have a pissant problem here and I've ALMOST considered that route myself. I spray, I blow up mounds with firecrackers, I've flooded mounds with the water hose.... I can't get rid of them. I think the best thing I found with these ants was to lay a string of hard candy a half block away leading to the pond down the street. Worked for a week, but that was about it.

Get a bottle cap or two and fill it with a mixture of sugar and borax mixed with a bit of water. Leave them on a trail and the ants should die off soon enough. You could also try Ortho's barrier pesticides. They work for about 6 months or more.

I'll try the borax. We've done the Ortho, but it either doesn't work or the ant are under the slab... :dunno:

Asian beetle it is. they overwinter in anyplace semi warm. Vacuum them up.

In the fall you need to seal up all the cracks they can get into as the overwintering is what they want. They have found those places in your area. they will come back. Make it hard on them and they will go next door. They can get in small cracks.

If you think they smell bad, the taste is that much worse. When I was younger I had one sitting on a soda can by my bed. That was a really unpleasant surprise when I woke up in the middle of the night to take a drink.

I had a problem with these little bastards at my old house!!!
Another important note everyone should know is every time you kill one, it releases a pheromone attracts even MORE of them....
Go read up on them, nearly impossible to totally get rid of..........

Liquid Sevin in the attic or crawl space once they are in the house. Liquid Sevin sprayed in the eaves in the fall when you see them starting to swarm. This will kill them, I have done this with great success. There will be some that still overwinter, but only a minimal amount. It does not stain, mix it in a garden sprayer. Works wonders.
