It's been about 2 years since the last one. hopefully, it will be in the new, main building. I was in it a few weeks ago and it's nice.

It's in the same building. Purdue DOUBLED the rent, so this will be the last show at this location. All future Lafayette shows will be at a new location (information can be found on the website).

I assume all renters of this space were treated this way? Not just the gun show?

Why would Purdue have anything to do with the rent? I thought this was county property.

Like all things in life, if it can be stolen or sold from the people with nary a complaint...then the silence means acquiescence.

Purdue took over all operations, I believe they own it now. They just spent millions improving the fairgrounds, but from what I understand none of that went into the swine barn where the gun show is held.

The county portal shows the fairgrounds are still owned by Tippecanoe County...fwiw.

Looks like the new location next year will be the Family Sports Center complex in West Lafayette. I coached many basketball games in those facilities over the years. All I can say is that you will need to wear layers to any shows that are held there in the winter.

I drove two hours to get there......it was very good....,lots of dealers and plenty of weapons.....very glad to see it going!
