I would suggest making a few copies before you apply the lamination.

The places listed above have the same color of pink paper and contrary to what
the person behind the counter tells you, it is not illegal to copy your permit.

Laminate the extra copies individually after signing
your name and place in a safe drawer.

I need to get my laminated again. It's falling apart.

I never had copies made. Anyone know if it would still look "legit" if I had my signed LTCH copied?

    I wouldn't.

I'd pay the $20 to get a replacement, copy that, sign the copies (not the original), then laminate the copies. Keep the original in your safe.

Also, we prefer you carry while visiting Printcraft. :draw: :D

    I wouldn't.

I may just end up doing that. Seems to be the smarter choice.

I forget why but before I laminated mine I was told by some old timers, it's a good idea to ink you'r thumb and put it on the back!

Because in the old days, when we called nickels bees and I took the ferry to East Ogdenville which is what they called West Lafayette in those days, I tied an onion to my belt which was the style at the time, when the LTCH was a 4x6 card it had a space for your thumb print.

+1 for the Office Depot in Clarksville.
    I went there this afternoon.
a delightful lady, Abbi took care of me.
We made 10 copies of my L.T.C.H. on their pink paper.
She then trimmed each of them and fitted them into a sheet of laminate.
Bingo I had an uncut sheet of licenses.
I cut the original out for my wallet.
Another for my truck, Harley and wifes car.
Three hole punched the sheet and put it in firesafe with other docs.
two copies didn't fit the laminate sheet,
brought them home to the gun safe.
took 15 minutes and cost $2.88.

Kinkos and staples in indy will NOT copy or laminate LTCH's. I had a couple of heated arguments with them about it. Finally staples let me copy it myself with their paper and then laminated them for me??? I guess since they technically didn't copy them for me they have plausable deniability?

I got mine done at the Staples in Merrillville a couple years ago. No problems, no questions asked. My only complaint is about the size of the license. Why couldn't they have made it the same dimensions as a driver's license? Instead, it is longer and sticks out the end of my wallet. :dunno:

I had mine laminated at Kinko's on 26 in Lafayette. The little punk rock girl didn't like doing it, but it only cost me $1 and change.
