Good to see that much of the American Public is still willing to throw away their Liberties with a smile on their face. Every time I start thinking that we have learned and ready to throw off the yoke of tyranny, I see an article like this.
Considering the venue, those crowds might actually be genuine in their beliefs. Elsewhere, they have to bus in union members, who are getting paid to attend. That's genuine enthusiasm, of a sort...
So the Prez holding a rally for his Party's Candidate .... OK. What is the SO WHAT FACTOR? I guess Bush 1 and 2 never did this? Maybe Ronnie (may he rest in peace) didn't do this?
If I qualified for free food, free housing, free college education, free health care & a free money check every month I'd probably be cheering for him too.
I agree with your college comment. I attend Ivy Tech in Columbus. A large number of the students that I have come in contact with are very Liberal. I have meet a couple three guys that are Righties like me. I get a lot of looks when I wear my hat with dont tread on me patches. Or, if I wear my right wing extremist, or join or die shirt. I really do not care though. If they do not like it they do not have to look.
ALWAYS use a smaller venue than you think you can fill. Overflow is always better than under-filled. It photographs better, people get more excited because they sense the excitement of others. It wows the reporters
Rule #2: If you think you need a bigger venue, see rule #1.
