Does anyone know if the shooting range at LaSalle isopen during the week?
I went there on a Monday and it was closed.

I think the range at LaSall has been closed on Mondays. Check the Indiana D.N.R. site for ranges

Check the DNR lists but, I'm pretty sure all their ranges are closed Monday and Tuesday so the RO's can have their two days off.

I thought LaSalle was shut down premanentlly. I believe it's been closed for a couple of years now. The ranger at Willow Slough said too many idiots were not following saftey rules so, since it was a unattended range, they shut it down.

I agree with Van on LaSalle being closed. I use to enjoy being there in the 90's, taught my wife to actually shoot and hit the targets with a snub 38 spec. Although I never saw it happen, word was the local gangbangers from Hammond and East Chicago liked to use it with ak47's. I found enough brass to reload my own 7.62 for 10 yrs. Too bad for a small range.
