Another one ready to go home. This is a Pro Series Fusion Government Steel frame stainless slide that Partyboy6686 purchased and I have been building for him.
We test fired it last Thursday and I refinished and reassembled this weekend.
Below is a portion of the work I put into it.

These are awesome kits and you end up with a very nice custom pistol that will last a lifetime and beyond.
This is my 5th Fusion Kit I have done and they played a big part in teaching me the ropes of building a 1911.
Having done 1911's from scratch it was a pleasure to do a kit :)

    The beginnings:

    Fitting Trigger

    Polishing trigger track

Sear pin was not counter sunk:

    now it is

Main spring housing was rough inside so it got lapped in

    Grip safety before:

Plus it rubbed on the frame:

    Blending magwell
    Before:

    after:

    Ambi safety fit before:

Doing Ball cuts on the slide

    Pre fitting everything

    Barrel flush cut and crowned:

    Time to refinish:

    Baking parts:

Next I have to say I took all the pics and uploaded them without realizing all the lint that was in the pics and was to lazty to redo them sorry :(
Finally Cerakote Graphite Black with Sniper Gray controls:

Awesome build. I like the ball cuts on the slide. Allen, you do truly top notch work. Allen is also a perfectionist...if he doesn't approve...it doesn't leave his shop and it shows in the finished product. Now I might need another 1911 built!

Yea I love the ball cuts on my gun. Took a lot of research on the internet to find something to do to the slide that I liked. After convincing Allen to do the ball cuts and seeing how good they look it has been our topic of discussion 9/10 times me and Allen talk.
